The Tenniscoats - Baibaba Bimba

I absolutely love watching bands who have the ability to adapt to any surroundings around them and utilize those sounds and incorpoarte them into beautiful songs.

Menomena, one of my favorite bands!

You're walking around in the middle of the day minding your business when all of a sudden your favorite artist is performing live, right in front of you..... It didn't happen to me but wishful thinking may come true.  I absolutely love this performance and to see the childrens reaction to this melody reminds me that music is the lifeblood of our soul.  It feeds us with enormous amounts of ecstasy and makes life worth living.

Typo on website!

Luckily when I reviewing my website today to make sure everything was working properly I found some typos in my artist statement page. I laughed so much when read the statement, I accidentaly typed the word "a**es" instead of the word "assess."  LOL, that made my day!

50th post! Yay!

While in class critiquing my classmates website, I notice that one of them inserted a Sigur Ros song into their website. It reminded me of this stunning live performance by Sigur Ros I had seen a while ago that I thought I would like to share with everyone.

Website is up!

Yay! class is over, but I'm a little sad that its over. It was a great class that I would definately recommend other students to take.  My website is up at www.csulb.edu/~pkang2/ if you wanna take a look!  However I definately wanna make some adjustments to make it better. I was impressed by my classmates' website and wanna incorporate some techniques they used and apply to my own website.  To my classmates, it was a pleasure to have you guys and girls in class. Thank you Kyle for teaching an awesome class.  Hope to see yah all around campus next semester. Have a great summer!  Peace! :)

Website project

Well I'm almost done with my website, I tried to keep it simple as possible but at the same time make it look professional.  I tried not to make it look too graphic because most of the artworks I've done is very simple and not very graphic oriented except the projects I did for this class.  I didn't want to website to look all decked out and the images of the artwork looks plain and ordinary.  It will totally contradict each other.  I wanted the website to feel harmonious with the images it contained and I feel that I was very sucessful in achieving that.  I know Kyle is gonna look at my website say how come it doesn't look very cool or hipsterish?! LOL!!!!!   I just know hes gonna say that in class Tuesday, hahaha.  OMG!!! if really he says that in class I'm gonna laugh my a** off!  This project wasn't easy, it took awhile to understand how dreamweaver works and theres so many things that can go wrong.  There some much coding and one wrong letter can completely mess up your entire website.

The Semester is Almost Over!!! :)

Wow! It’s been an incredible journey, I just transferred here this spring and it feels like I just started going to school yesterday.  I can't believe it went by so fast!!! Well it was pleasure having you guys and girls in class. You are very talented and I was very impressed with all of your creativity.  Hope to work with you all again someday and I'll see yah around campus! :)  PS: I wanted to share one of my favorite movies of all time that I feel everyone would enjoy, if you can spare two 1/2 hours of your time.  I know!! lol it seems like a really long movie but you’ll love it from beginning to end.  It’s a Japanese movie that emphases that we should all just slow down and make time to closely examine how weird and wonderful life is.  The title of the film is called "The Taste of Tea" by Katsuhito Ishii.  It’s not a religious movie, just an appreciation of a short time we spent here on earth.  Here’s the trailer of the film.  Please! If you get a chance try to find it at your local video store or rent it on Netflix or something.  I think that’s all I have to say. Good Luck in all your futures and I’ll see yah around someday! :)

New Guide Book: How to be a Hipster

I was disappointed with how my first guide book came out so I decided to redo everything.  So far I like this version better than the first. It should be ready by tomorrow, can't wait to see the final product! :)
